Second WHO Global Summit on Traditional Medicine

Deadline extended until 15 December

On-site attendance is limited
and
by invitation only.

The upcoming WHO Global Summit on Traditional Medicine will offer a voluntary platform for WHO Member States and non-state actors to announce SMART commitments (Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Relevant, Time-Bound) to advance the goals of the Global Traditional Medicine Strategy 2025–2034. Making a commitment is an opportunity to express concrete plans and investments to advance one or more of the four strategic objectives of the Global Strategy. This allows all stakeholders to understand emerging opportunities to align on shared efforts and to work together towards common goals.

Commitments that meet the announced criteria will be shared with all stakeholders in the closing high-level session of the Summit. They will also be published online and disseminated to the global media for public awareness.

Guidelines For commitment making

Member States can submit commitments by 15 December 2025 through this online form.

Non-state actors can submit commitments by 15 December 2025 through this online form.
